The goal of this project was to find out why we fear the dark.
Since prehistoric times, the darkness always posed a threat to the survival of our ancestors, with dangerous predators roaming around in the shadows where the human eye is too weak to see.
These rough sketches where I explored what ordinary things could look scary in the dark, were the starting point of my idea generation.
When the concept was set and the final sketches were done, it was time to ink!
And then print and bind my little book together!
And all done!
